Cylinder mount Counter Balance valves
Counterbalance valves are used in hydraulic systems working with overriding (running away) or suspended loads. They are designed to create back pressure at the return line of the actuator to prevent losing control over the load

Please note cylinder in photo is not included, it is simply an fitment illustration..
These are compact designs made especially for cylinder mounting. These use either a 3/4" uno or larger 1.1/16: You then need to pipe up to the other port (steel pipe by law) to achieve back pressure. These are available in single counterbalance, ie, the load is controlled only in one direction, or Dual counterbalance where the load is controlled from falling in both directions. These feature high quality Keta Cartridges. Please see the photo for the correct installation diagrams. The A & B ports are 3/4" Uno or 1.1/16" & the 'pipe' port is also 3/4" or 1.1/16"Uno. (single cavity body), load is held on port C2.

Please note; standard range cartridges will be sent unless you call/message for alternate range. Standard is LCBCA-LHN ; 3:1 ratio, 1.7Bar crack, & 70-280 Bar pressure range (1000psi -4200psi) Optional same price but contact us is 3:1, .3Bar crack 70-280bar adjustable

Two check valve cracking pressures are available. Use the 1.7 bar check unless actuator cavitation is a concern. Generally, the 1.7 bar check spring is recommended for most applications as it is more robust and insensitive to rapid flow reversals. The 0.3 bar check spring should be used if there is a need to pull in make-up oil. • Counterbalance valves should be set at least 1.3 times the maximum load induced pressure

Please note; On the single cavity body, load is held on port C2.
