If you have noticed oil leaking from the bottom of your car near the boot or Trunk,
or the convertible roof on your 2001 to 2011 Mercedes Benz R230 SL has stopped working,
you may need to have the hydraulic locking cylinders removed and resealed.

Please note: We do not offer a removal and installation service only the cylinder reseal service.

Your convertible Cylinders will be Professionally rebuilt so that your boot (trunk)
locking cylinders from your Mercedes Benz R230 SL convertible will operate reliably again.
Send to us after removal from your vehicle and we will strip it down, inspect,
and then reseal your cylinder with modern long-life Halite oil seals that exceed OEM specifications.

Below is a video of the main steps in the strip and reseal process.

Price is for one pair (1 x left and 1 x right cylinders) to replace the internal hydraulic seals
And stop your locking cylinders from leaking oil inside your convertible.
After resealing and final assembly, all Cylinders are pressure tested to 1,000 psi (70 bar)

Please contact us to determine if this part is suitable for your vehicle.
We can also recondition a range of other cylinders and rams from most other convertible vehicles.
