Brand: OAC

Oil coolers with Axial Cooling fans operating on
12 Volt DC , 24 Volt DC , 240 Volt AC , 415VAC
Designed for Oil Flows from 80 Liters per Minute to 300 Liters Per minute.
Oil coolers or heat exchangers are used to reduce excessive heat in hydraulic systems. The reliability, efficiency, and lifespan of key components such as bearings and seals Pumps and Motors can be greatly improved by the use of oil cooling to remove excess heat and maintain an optimal working temperature.

With a bar & plate brazed Aluminum core,
Your OAC Oil Cooler will be:
Rugged, Lightweight and Compact
Best Heat Transfer per given size.
Fan and Fan more operate quietly.
Maximum Working Pressure: 250 psi / 16 Bar
Maximum Working Temperature: 250° F / 120° C

There is a recommended option for a Temperature sensor switch which simply turns on the fan when detected oil heat reaches a certain level. ie. Will not run as often in winter. Please refer to the charts for correct sizing. Remember oil coolers are designed to go on the return to tank oil circuit, ensure there are large enough hoses to not cause 'back pressure' Max pressure is 16 Bar / 240 Psi.
These coolers simply use BSPP ports.

How to Calculate the Size of an Oil / Air Cooler.
You will need a thermometer (infrared is best) to measure oil temperature and a timepiece to measure the time. Pick a location on the machine where heat is experienced and you know oil is flowing through it and measure at the same location every 15 minutes, recording the temperature and the time.
Summarise all recordings
Start temperature
The rise or final temperature
And the time it took (in hours) for the temperature to rise to the final recording.
