This is a USA made Hydraulic Pressure Compensated Adjustable Flow control valve (suits 12v or 24v). This item would suit any application where there is the need to vary the flow of the oil, thereby adusting the speed of the function. ie, a spinning brush, blade that runs from a hydraulic motor. The function can be switched on, & with a potentiometer used in your cab to speed up or slow the function. The USA made valve has three ports, pressure in, controlled flow out, & the 3 rd 'EX port' be plumbed either to a secondary function, or back to tank to drop excess flow.
The Brand, electronically adjustable proportional pressure compensated flow control is an electronically controlled version of the original FC51 style flow control valve. The EFC performance as a flow control is very similar to the FC51 because they both use the same spring and compensator spool. Thus, the control flow port (CF) and the excess flow port (EX) remain usable and pressure compensated.The main advantage of the EFC over the FC51 is that the flow can be adjusted proportionally with a solenoid instead of manually. As the current to the solenoid increases the variable orifice moves proportionally similar to positioning the rotary side lever on the manual FC’s. The solenoid is connected to our EC – series controls which can be sold with the EFC. We also give the choice of a dashpot size, which allows the customer to select a valve that responds to the

  • Flow out of the controlled "Flow Port" can be varied between 0 and ... lit/minute depending on model. (Please select from drop down menu. )
  • Any remaining flow will be bypassed to the " E, Excess Flow" port
  • This "Excess Flow" can just return to tank.
  • Once the "R", Regulated Flow has been adjusted and set it will remain nearly constant whether pressure changes on either the regulated or Excess flow ports.
  • It should be noted that whenever these valves are used to bypass or restrict flow heat will be generated.
  • Please ensure that if oil temperature exceeds a constant 65 degrees Celsius coolers may need to be installed.
  • It has a 250 Bar (3750 PSI) maximum operating pressure
  • Once set, it maintains constant speed regardless of load variation.
